Volunteer Information

Who can volunteer at MVES?

• We are currently allowed to have parent volunteers at MVES this school year!
• Parents, Guardians, Grandparents! If you have a child connected to MVES, talk to us about volunteering! 
• All volunteers must have proper clearances. Please see the district page for volunteer clearance info HERE

What volunteer opportunities are available at MVES?

• Volunteers are always needed at MVES! Whether you want to help out at a one-time event or schedule some time regularly to serve our community, we have opportunities for everyone!
• Major Events: Wellness Walk, Trunk or Treat, Santa Shop, Field Day, Class Parties
• Reoccurring Volunteer Opportunities: Student Store, Bowling Club Support, Library Helpers, Kindergarten Helpers
• PTO Positions: We always need parent volunteers to support the PTO!

Interested in being a Homeroom Parent/Party Parent Helper?

• Be sure to submit your clearance info ASAP to the MVES Front Office! All volunteers must have up to date clearances submitted before being allowed into the school.
• Check your email or REMIND app for volunteer opportunities! We use the SIGN UP GENIUS website for Homeroom and Party Parent Volunteers. 
• Parent volunteers should defer to the teachers requests when planning parties and double check first before planning activities or purchasing items!
